'Arrow' season 4 update: consequences of Laurel's death; cast member gives teasers on the finale

Team Arrow lost a member in the latest episode of "Arrow" season 4, as Laurel Lance aka Black Canary was killed by the evil Damien Darhk. Now, the fans are wondering if how this unfortunate event will affect Felicity.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently caught up with TVLine, and he mentioned about issues that Felicity will have to resolve. "She's broken up with Oliver and she's also broken up with the team essentially. And in Episode 19 ['Canary Cry,' airing Wednesday, April 27], we'll see the undoing of one of those decisions," he said. Fellow EP Wendy Mericle also discussed how the future episodes will feature Oliver and Felicity's relationship. "We started off this season with Felicity really wanting to come back and do this because she herself enjoys this kind of vigilante lifestyle, but that is separate from Oliver. In [the Season 4 premiere], he didn't want to; it was more about her making herself happy than anything else. So she'll be grappling in some ways with that," Mericle added. The forthcoming episodes will indeed "echo [the premiere] in terms of where a lot of the characters end up, specifically Oliver and Felicity," the showrunner concluded.
As far as spoilers go, Emily Bett Rickards asked her BFF Aisha Tyler via Twitter to describe the fourth season finale in three words. The actress' answer turned heads because it seemed cryptic for fans, saying, "Absolute destruction, devastation."
According to Melty, the synopsis for the latest episode reads: "Oliver and the team struggle to come to terms with Laurel's death, especially Diggle who is overwhelmed with guilt for choosing to believe Andy had changed. Meanwhile, Lance refuses to believe his daughter is really gone and asks Nyssa to help bring her back. A recent Black Canary sighting in Star City only seems to prove his theory that Laurel isn't actually dead."
"Arrow" season 4 episode 19 entitled "Canary Cry" will air April 27 on the CW.
