After some years of hiatus, rumor has it that the Bluth family will be back for "Arrested Development" season 5. Netflix has not yet announced an official release date, but producers have already mentioned a year ago that the fifth season is on the table.

In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, actor Tony Hale said that the cast members are willing to be back for another season. "I know for a fact that everyone wants to do it," the actor who plays Buster Bluth said. When asked for further details, Hale mentioned of a "tweak" that the showrunners will do to improve the show. They are planning to shoot the series together, unlike season 4 where they had to edit actors into a scene.

This may have caused disappointment among fans because the production of the well-known comedy series had to resort to cutting and pasting actors into a scene because of their conflicting schedules. Will Arnett  who plays Gob Bluth even joked about Jason Bateman's busy schedule as the reason behind the show's delay. "It is something that we keep talking about doing and we are all just trying to work around Jason Bateman's schedule," he said during an interview in the show "Allan Carr: Chatty Man."

On a serious note, Arnett clarified that the cast is open to another season of the series. "No, no. It is something we all want to do, including Jason, and Mitch [Hurwitz], who writes the show, has been writing some stuff. We are not entirely sure when it is going to happen but it is something that we all want to do," he said.

Despite being known for its comedic themes, the series also has surprising twists and turns which keep the viewers interested. When asked if an "Arrested Development" movie is possible, Hale acknowledged that it might actually happen but the characters will probably be seen in a new territory.
