'Archer' Season 6 Spoilers: Archer And Lana Become Parents

The sixth season of the adult animated series "Archer" will hit the screen in January of next year, but already news has started to surface about the cast and plot.

First off, there's news about the cast, with HNGN reporting that C.C. H. Pounder has been cast as Lana's mother and Keith David as her father. Last season we saw Sterling Archer being tricked by Lana to part with his sperm, as a result of which they now have a baby girl.

In the sixth season, the producers of the show reveal that Archer and Lana will take their daughter to visit her parents. The visit will then go horribly bad when Archer does some bad things to her parents.

Earlier in the year during the July Comic Con, it was reported that Alison Tolman would be playing the part of Edie, who is Pam's sister. She will be introduced to viewers in the upcoming season when Pam returns to Poovey Farms to attend to Edie's wedding. Zap2it quotes Tolman as saying, "As terrible as Pam is, Edie is far, far worse; she's a terrible, terrible person. She's awful. She is really, really awful."

During the New York Comic Con panel discussion, there was more news and spoilers about the upcoming sixth season. There was talk about Slater played by Christian Slater. He was first seen in the fifth season. It seems Slater will be back in the next season to cause more problems for Archer.

Among the spoilers that Vulture lists is that the season will start with Archer in a secret hiding place sporting an ear piercing and hanging out with his female companions.

As for the show itself, it was recently renewed for a sixth and seventh season. Each of the upcoming seasons will consist of 13 episodes. Viewers can expect several changes ahead.

Also hinted in the fifth season is that the terrorist ISIS group will no longer exists and will instead do contractual work for the CIA.
