April 2016 Xbox One backward compatibility list prediction news: "Dark Souls" at the top of the list?

Fans could not wait for the list of free games for April 2016. The past few months have been great for the members of the Xbox Live Games with Gold program and now they are wondering what is in store for them this coming month of April.
Nevertheless, they have made their own prediction of the games that will be added to the list. Many believe that the original "Dark Souls" title will most likely be included in next month's group of games. Fans think that the upcoming release of the game's sequel, "Dark Souls III," is a good indication to include the original title in the free games list. It will be a good marketing strategy for the company to follow, which will lead to fans buying the upcoming installment.
The game publisher has already given away free "Dark Souls" game to those who pre-order the third episode of the series. Giving it to the members of the Xbox Live Games with Gold program would cost them less effort by just providing it straight for free through the Xbox One backward compatibility feature.
While waiting for "Dark Souls" to come out as a free game, gamers can momentarily enjoy the "Borderlands." The action part shooter is currently available up until Mar 31. "Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment" is also currently available to Xbox Live Games Gold players until the end of this month. The action role-playing video game, "Lords of the Fallen" is also available now up until April 15, 2016.
Many fans believe that Xbox will go big with its free games in April as most of the game titles they gave away in the past months have been good but mostly older 360 games.
April's Xbox One backward compatibility list has not been confirmed yet by Microsoft; however, fans should expect an announcement anytime soon.
