Apple Watch 2 rumors: Release date scheduled for June 2016?

The Apple Watch 2 might not have been introduced in the recently concluded Apple March 21 event, but it sure did not go unnoticed.
Anticipating Apple fans were dismayed after the tech giant's March 21 launch event because the most-awaited successor to the Apple Watch did not arrive. Apparently, only new straps for the watch were released as a part of their "Spring" collection.
According to Macrumors UK, there are speculations that the watch will come out this June. Quanta, a Chinese manufacturer, was responsible for the production of the Apple Watch. The chairperson of Quanta, Barry Lam, reportedly divulged the release date during an investors meeting and everyone was all ears when he delivered his statement. Lam claimed as Q2 2016 nears its end, a limited number of the Apple Watch 2 will hit the shelves, followed by more stocks in Q3 2016. Based upon Lam's statement, it is safe to assume that a June 2016 release is in order for the smartwatch.
Good news for those who like Apple's FaceTime feature, because the forthcoming smartwatch might have it as well. According to Techcrunch, the Apple Watch 2 is rumored to have the high-tech feature, but not much else will make the fans more interested. Apart from the new colorful straps to add character to the smartwatch, speculations suggest that it will not have many new features as previously expected. When it comes to the price, the smartwatch is rumored to cost around £949 to £8,000. However, it is still unknown if the forthcoming watch will be any different from the first one in terms of features.
One year since the Apple Watch was first introduced in the market, people expect the successor to the smartwatch sometime this year. No word yet from Apple if the rumors were indeed true, but a recent price drop for the Apple Watch might indicate that the second-generation watch is on its way to the shelves very soon.
