The highly anticipated Apple Watch 2 has become one of the hottest subjects for rumors and speculations all over the internet today. Ever since the original model was released last year, people could not stop talking about its successor. With the Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC 2016 getting nearer, many fans believe that the Cupertino-based company will unveil the next tech watch at the event.

WWDC 2016 will happen in June. Apple will have ample time to develop apps and features for the device before it is ready for release by fall. However, if Apple decides not to launch the smartwatch at the event, tech freaks may have to wait for next year before they can get a hold of the rumored device.

Meanwhile, Tech Radar reported that there will be no significant changes in terms of design as the Apple Watch 2 is said to mirror the original model. Nonetheless, Apple is expected to develop a thinner and lighter Apple Watch 2.

It is said that Apple is more focus on the specs under the hood than its outside appearance. There are reports that the company is planning to install a much faster ARM-based processor on the next model. Apple's goal is to provide a much-improved battery feature, which gives users the ability to do more on the device in a long period of time.

The battery has been a problem ever since the original came out as users complain about it draining faster than usual. If rumors prove to be true and Apple will change the processor into an ARM Cortex A32, battery problem would not be an issue on the next iteration.

As of now, Apple has yet to provide significant details regarding its development, much less its release date. However, many fans believe that it is only a matter of time before the company decides to announce the next Apple Watch 2.
