Apple iWatch vs Moto 360 Review: Comparison of Specs, Price and Features
The Apple Watch has been generating a lot of buzz before its release, but there are several other smartwatches in the market that could provide stiff competition to it. One of these is the Moto 360 which turned out to be a big hit when it was released earlier this year.

The Moto 360 has successfully managed to bridge the gap between traditional watches and smartwatches chiefly because of its design, which includes a round watch face encased in stainless steel and paired with a leather or metal band.
The Apple Watch is comparatively smaller than the Moto 360 because of its rectangular watch face. Hence it is designed to fit better on people with smaller wrists. However, in terms of watch straps and finishes the Apple Watch scores over the Moto 360. It has three variations of watch straps and each of its three bodies of stainless steel, anodized aluminum, and solid gold has a variant.
The Moto 360 is powered by a OMAP 3 processor clocked at 1GHz and is coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of onboard memory. The Apple Watch is rumored to have a S1 chip created by Apple and a Taptic Engine, but there is no information on the amount of RAM or onboard memory the watch has.
Features will be a major difference between the two watches as the Apple Watch can be interacted with using 15 different methods. These include navigating using the digital crown, Siri, and tapping on the screen. As for its OS the Apple Watch will have a brand-new one that is currently called the Watch OS, while the Moto 360 runs on Android Wear and accepts input from Google Now.
Battery life is going to be an issue in both watches since they will have to charged daily. While the Moto 360 can be charged wirelessly using a stand, the Apple Watch will charge via the MagSafe device that attaches to the back of the watch.
Coming to the price, the Moto 360 is currently selling at $250 while the basic edition of the Apple Watch costs $350. Meanwhile, rumors have priced the solid gold edition of the Apple Watch at $5,000.
