Apple iWatch Specs, Features Review: Force Touch, Other Top Features Explained

Apple looks all set to unveil its Apple Watch during it "Spring Forward" event this Monday, March 9. At the event, attention will be focused on how Apple sees the device as a tool to enhance people's lives. Apple is expected to highlight the outstanding features of the watch to capture the imagination of users.
Among these features is its stunning body which is made from steel, aluminum or gold. This is paired with a standard strap that can easily be replaced with a variety of leather or steel or Fluoroelastomer straps. The user can customize the watch depending on his or her fancy or the occasion where he or she is going – whether a party or the gym.
The force touch feature on the Apple Watch will also be able to discern whether the user is pressing down hard on the screen or just lightly touching it. Based on the type of touch, the watch will then provide immediate access to different watch faces or the messages menu.
When using the digital crown on the device, users will be able feel a gentle tap on their wrist generated by the watch's Taptic Engine. This haptic feedback will also alert them when they receive a notification. In each case, the tap will be of a different type.
In the case of communication between two users of the Apple Watch, they will be able to send and receive sketches, heartbeats and taps. In the case of heartbeats, the heart rate sensor can be used to record a section. When the heartbeat is sent to another user, the latter will see the heart beat as an image and feel a tap generated by the Taptic Engine.
As for apps, Time states that the device will come with a Tesla app to check on an electric car, as well as a Starwood app which will allow users to open their room in an associated hotel.
When the Apple Watch is paired with an iPhone, it will be able to do a number of additional things such as tracking movement throughout the day. A fitness app on the device will also be able to gauge whether the wearer has completed his daily goals when it comes to exercise, movement and standing.
