The iPhone 7 has yet to be formally announced by Apple but rumors about the upcoming iPhone 8 have already hit the internet. According to the latest reports, the Cupertino-based company is said to be planning to develop the iPhone 8 with Super AMOLED display system. The technology has been used by Samsung on its Galaxy smartphone series.

There have been reports suggesting that people are more excited about the upcoming iPhone 8 than the next iteration of the flagship smartphone. Apparently, fans find the iPhone 7 hype boring because they believe the rumored specs to be a big disappointment. The reports added that the iPhone 8 will be an exciting addition to the series as it will feature new impressive specs including the curved edge Super AMOLED screen and much better storage options.

There are speculations saying that Apple is striking up a deal with the Korean tech giant, Samsung, to build the OLED panels for their upcoming iPhone 8. According to the report, Apple has been planning to use the amazing display technology for their 2017 products. It is said to be the year when it launches the new iPhone. If rumors prove to be true, Apple fanatics will certainly be treated with a new and a different iPhone device next year.

Meanwhile, Forbes reported that Apple will add more advanced features on the iPhone 8 compared to the next iPhone release, which is the iPhone 7. The publication said that Apple's TouchID will be more advanced as the screen of the smartphone can read the fingerprints by simply tapping.

The company is expected to reveal the new iPhone 8 during next year's Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC 2017. It will be interesting how fans will receive the new iPhone with a Super AMOLED screen and dual curved edges. However, Samsung has yet to confirm these reports. Fans should take the rumors and speculations with a grain of salt until the company decides to make an announcement.
