It has been confirmed that Ant-Man will be returning to the big screen once again, and this time he will be joined by another heroine called The Wasp in the forthcoming Marvel superhero feature film "Ant-Man and the Wasp." While there has been little information shared by Marvel Studios to the public about the movie, there are reports that the "Basic Instinct" actress Sharon Stone will play an important role in the "Ant-Man" sequel, although the size of the character may be "physically small."

As reported by The Bitbag, Stone already confirmed her participation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) during a one-to-one interview in "The Late Late Show with James Corden." While she did not disclose which specific MCU movie she will appear in, it was speculated by many that the actress may be hinting at a certain role in "Ant-Man and the Wasp."

"I am going to do a Marvel movie. I'm just doing a wee part in a Marvel movie, upcoming, and I can't tell, because you know, you have to sign confidentiality agreements. But I'm going to do a wee part in a Marvel movie now. That's it," Stone revealed.

Slash Film noted Stone's choice of words during her revelation of her part in a Marvel movie. The actress used the words "wee part" twice during the interview, and she could have been describing the size of the character that she would be playing in the film. It has been speculated that Stone will be appearing alongside Paul Rudd in "Ant-Man and the Wasp," where she is expected to be reunited with her former screen partner Michael Douglas. To recall, Stone and Douglas starred together in many Hollywood films including "Basic Instinct" and "Fatal Attraction," where the latter had Stone to play the wife of Douglas' character.

This time in "Ant-Man and the Wasp," Stone is rumored to play the wife of Douglas' character once again as it is highly possible that she would be playing the role of Janet Van Dyne, the wife of Hank Pym believed to have died years ago. In the 2015 "Ant-Man" movie, Pym revealed that her wife decided to shrink to sub-atomic size in order to diffuse a missile bomb. Van Dyne was not seen thereafter. Towards the end of the movie, it was hinted that there is a way for a person who went sub-atomic to return safely, as what Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) has demonstrated.
