Android 7.0 Nougat release date news 2016: Full version to be released before Sept. 30 with power-efficient graphics features

Many people may not have noticed it but the much-anticipated release of the new Android operating system (OS) is just a couple of weeks away. There is no confirmed date yet for the full and final launching of the next Android mobile OS called the Android 7.0 Nougat. The latest look of the Android interface has been rumored to arrive sometime this year, and for the past several months, it was referred to as Android N. Most likely, the public must take note of September as the period when the Android 7.0 will be officially released.

Back in the first week of March, Google made a surprising revelation when they finally revealed the first Android N developer preview. That was the time when the rumors were suggesting that the developer preview for the next Android OS would be out later in May. Google also announced that the final Android 7.0 Nougat launch date will be on Q3 2016. If this were actually the case, then the public should watch out for Sept. 30 at the very latest to receive the latest Android system update.

As reported by Neurogadget, Android 7.0 Nougat will be introducing many new features to smartphone users. One of the most interesting features of the latest OS is the new Vulkan 3D graphics API, which will allow developers to input more graphical detail into frame without maximizing the phone's power consumption. The JTI Compiler is also expected to speed up the installation of phone applications by 75 percent while reducing the compiler code size by around 50 percent.

Moreover, the Android 7.0 will also be featuring a file-based encryption and media framework hardening, therefore strengthening the security measures of the smartphone. The users will also find it convenient that the future system updates of the latest Android OS will be downloaded in the background without affecting the user's phone activities. The updates will be implemented right after the phone is restarted. Nougat is also expected to pack with multi-window Split Screen and Picture in Picture, a new virtual reality (VR) platform called "Daydream" and an improved Java and language support.
