In the vast catalog of FX's "American Horror Story," it has already and masterfully introduced a slew of relevant themes to scare its viewers off. From the desolate, haunted house to a desecrated asylum, the anthology series has also gone to the witches' coven and a carnival (no pun) of unusual characters. And if you are a regular viewer, you would think that Ryan Murphy and his team have already served everything that could be dished out in the world of the scared.

Well, this may have been quite true in the just concluded season "Roanoke" of the enduring horror series as it managed to interconnect storylines and characters from its previous entries. But a true-blue fan of the show might think that the fresh connections in between the seasons have not been enough. More pertinently, the show might never be enough if it ends abruptly at its sixth.

And so, Murphy and his team may have felt the same thing as they launched a seemingly hint-filled teaser on their official Twitter page. It shared a short clip that featured sea waves and sounds. These audio renderings were mixed with a disturbing woman's voice who was decidedly screaming along with dark trees and voodoo dolls. The clip was captioned, "The monsters are all gone."

On the other hand, Movie Pilot has surmised that the forthcoming installment may be featuring a "horror cruise ship," an evident nod to the latest clip that involved sea and waves.

This speculation was further corroborated by Murphy himself who revealed that the sixth season finale will provide hints as to which theme will permeate to the seventh. In the finale, it was seen that when Chen ghost has hit the group of Spirit Chasers, a model ship fell from the shelf, indicating that the "cruise ship" rumors may very well be legitimate.
