'American Horror Story' season 6 release date, spoilers: Premiere date and mysterious new logo revealed
The much-anticipated sixth season of "American Horror Story" is coming up, and fans must brace themselves for all-new thrilling episodes when the show returns in the Fall.

Details about the latest installment remain under wraps, but the hit series recently released a mysterious new logo. Original cast members Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson already confirmed that they will be on board, along with series mainstay Sarah Paulson.
Due to the lack of official updates, interesting fan theories have surfaced online. There are speculations that the theme might be related to the Thatcher School which was casually referenced in the fifth season. It can also be connected to a theme park, a cult or summer camp which all involve creepy settings.
Series creator Ryan Murphy previously hinted during the show's PaleyFest panel last March that he has yet to choose between two ideas for the theme. However, it seemed that he already had a winner that time. "Both things that we're writing right now — we haven't yet declared the winner — will have a different form than we've ever done, so we're excited about that," he explained. "We'll talk about it soon, but we haven't landed on it." Murphy added that the plot involves "elements of children" but he did not give away clues on how such elements will be incorporated into the story.
In terms of crossovers between seasons, Murphy teased that he plans on doing that in the near future. As the show progresses, he hopes to tell more stories and connect them in an unexpected way. "The deeper that we go into the series — hopefully we'll last decades and decades — you will see that there's a definite universe and all the worlds are collided, sometimes in a very bizarre, interesting way. You will be seeing more and more of that as we go along," the series creator said.
Tune in to the season 6 premiere of "American Horror Story" which airs on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m.ET on FX.
