'American Horror Story' Season 6 release date, news, update, spoilers: Next season will be more 'rogue and dark'

Every season of "American Horror Story" has featured a new and shocking theme for the audience, and the series never failed to send a spine-tingling presentation with its episodes. However, it appears that the show is ready to step up the game as "American Horror Story" executive producer Ryan Murphy claims that the upcoming sixth season of the popular horror anthology will be darker.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly (via Parent Herald), Murphy revealed that "American Horror Story" Season 6 will be "more rogue and dark." If the viewers have already been terrified by the contents of the show so far, they can expect more gut-wrenching scenes and twisted story lines next season.
The past seasons of the series have been very chilling in their own right. The first season of "American Horror Story" involved a murderous ghost that haunts a family in their house, while Season 2 told the horrific stories of the infamous Briarcliff Asylum. Season 3 visited the dark world of the witches, Season 4 introduced the viewers to the freaks of the circus, while the previous fifth season opened the doors of the haunted Hotel Cortez.
Moreover, Murphy also revealed that Season 6 will be set in the present timeline, although it is also expected to run in a dual timeline where certain scenes will revisit the past. This is similar to the setup of the previous seasons. Regarding the exact theme of Season 6, Murphy chose to keep everything else as secret.
Meanwhile, Game N Guide reported that Lady Gaga has finally confirmed her involvement in "American Horror Story" Season 6. She is expected to join Evan Peters for another terrifying treat by FX. Regarding the air date of the new season, it is expected to be sometime in October, similar to the premiere date of the past seasons.
Other recurring actors for "American Horry Story" are Kathy Bates, Angela Basset, Sarah Paulson, Wittrock, Denis O'Hare, Cheyanne Jackson, Matt Bomer and Wes Bentley.
