'American Horror Story' news: no theme for Season 6 yet; all of previous season's cast set to return

"American Horror Story: Hotel," the fifth season of FX's horror-drama anthology, concluded last January, and last Sunday evening on the Paleyfest at the Dolby Theatre, AHS producer and showrunner Ryan Murphy reunited with the rest of the fifth season's cast for some announcements regarding "American Horror Story's" next installment. One of the big news of the evening as reported by InStyle was the announcement of Season 6's cast.
"The interesting thing about the season is that we've been working on two ideas at once, which we've never done. I don't want to say what it is, but I will tell you that every darling person up here that wants to come back can come back," Murphy revealed in front of the press.
If all of the main cast decided to return for Season 6, "Hotel's" ensemble cast consists of Lady Gaga, Dennis O'Hara, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Chloe Sevigny, Cheyenne Jackson, Angela Basset, and Evan Peter, will appear once again.
With regards to the theme of the sixth season, Murphy said that the team has not come up with a final decision for the next season's subject, but the creator hinted that he has two ideas in mind that he wanted to combine.
"The interesting thing about the next season is that we've been working on two ideas at once, which we've never done," Murphy told the press.
The first season revolved around a haunted murder house, the second season gave a tour of a cursed asylum, while the third season involved the witches of New Orleans and the fourth season offered a freak show. The fifth season titled "Hotel" is the first season that featured Lady Gaga in the lead role, after the show's previous star Jessica Lange left AHS.
