AMD Polaris GPU release date, rumors, updates: New graphics card close to Radeon R9 Fury; Set to appear at Computex 2016?

AMD is expected to unveil another breakthrough in their mass-produced graphics processing units (GPUs) as the first graphics card based on the Polaris architecture will make its debut in the near future. Instead of one AMD Polaris GPU, there are two new Polaris graphics cards to be released, and their first stop will be at the Computex 2016.
Fudzilla reported that the first Polaris GPU architecture will be showcased by AMD at Computex 2016 that will run from May 31 to June 4. AMD's presentation during the said event will showcase some of the company's biggest technological projects this year, although the very highlight of this presentation will be the first Polaris GPU architecture based graphics cards. The publication also noted of the new graphics cards' first alleged 3DMark performance figures.
The new Polaris 10-based GPUs is reported to be named as the Radeon R9 480 and R9 480X. These graphics cards are expected to be a part of the mid-range lineup of AMD, although the early outlook of the Polaris GPU's performance is already impressive, with reports of their performance higher than that of the Radeon R9 390, and even the R9 390X.
Furthermore, according to Videocardz.com, the faster Polaris graphics card, Radeon R9 480X, is comparable to Radeon R9 Fury graphics card. When comparing the two graphics card, their performances are close to each other, at least in 3DMark. With this, the superior Polaris 10 GPU is expected to be faster than the GTX 980. On the other hand, the slower Polaris 10 graphics card, Radeon R9 480, will be a bit slower than R9 390X, but faster than the GTX 970. In spite of these differences, both Polaris GPUs are expected to have the same 8GB or VRAM, 1266MHz GPU, and 1925 and 2000MHz memory clocks.
Aside from the Polaris GPU, AMD's presentation at the upcoming Computex conference next week will also showcase the new A-series processors. In an announcement posted by AMD, the presentation of the company's latest projects will be presented by CEO and president Lisa Su, senior vice president and general manager Jim Anderson for Computing and Graphics Business Group, and senior vice president and chief architect Raja Koduri for the Radeon Technologies Group.
