'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 4 spoilers: Ghost Rider puts team in danger in episode 5; What's next for Robbie and Daisy?
Ghost Rider's (Gabriel Luna) thirst for vengeance will ruin the team in the upcoming episode of ABC's action series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4.
Titled "Lockup," this week's episode will see Ghost Rider put the team in danger. According to the official synopsis for episode 5, Robbie Reyes (also played by Luna) will be in a complicated situation as he struggles to control the spirit of The Ghost Rider. Meanwhile, S.H.I.E.L.D. breaks into a high-security prison in an attempt to unravel the secrets that continue to haunt all of them. The team enlists Robbie's help since he is the only person who can actually fight and kill the ghost scientists controlling the prison.
In the previous episode, viewers saw how Daisy (Chloe Bennet) became closer to Robbie, despite Robbie's brother Gabe's (Lorenzo James Henrie) attempt to scare her out of their life in episode 3. Luna recently caught up with E! News and according to the actor, Gabe's actions are understandable since he is just doing his responsibility as a brother.
"I think what he sees—he obviously doesn't know what resides in me," he explained. "If he knew that, I'm sure he'd probably try to come to Daisy's protection just as much as he's come to mine. But he's being inundated with all this anti-Inhuman stuff just like everyone else."
On the subject of Daisy and Robbie's burgeoning relationship, Luna admitted that he still doesn't know about the pair's future and if they'll ever become romantically involved with each other. "Who knows what happens with Robbie and Daisy moving forward," he continued. "You'll learn a lot more [in the next episode,] but as it stands, they've come to an understanding in that they mean each other no harm. And whatever skills they both possess, they want to utilize them for their greater good as a duo."
