'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 4 spoilers: Director's name to be revealed; Daisy battles it out with Ghost Rider in episode 2

Daisy (Chloe Bennett) battles it out with Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna) at a terrible cost, while Coulson (Clark Gregg) finally meets the new Director in the upcoming second episode of ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4.

Titled "Meet the New Boss," the next episode will see a huge confrontation between Daisy and Ghost Rider, which might not end well for the two of them. Elsewhere, Coulson and the rest of the team will finally meet their new Director. During their first meeting, the Director proposes a bold agenda which will surprise them all. Although the synopsis only gives little information on the upcoming episode, the title confirms that viewers will finally know the Director's name, which has been shrouded in mystery since actor Jason O'Mara was cast for the role a few months back.

A special 2-minute sneak peak was released by the show's official Twitter account, featuring the field agents on their way to pay a visit to the new Director. In the teaser, Coulson addresses him by the first name of "Jeffrey." To date, very little is known about the character aside from his Marvel roots which go back to the 1940s.

"We knew that when we brought Jason into the show we wanted a different flavor than Fury, we wanted a different flavor than [Hill], we wanted a different flavor than Phil," executive producer Jeph Loeb told Entertainment Weekly. "What would be the best way of introducing someone that we've never see before be the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.?"In the season 4 premiere, Daisy and Ghost Rider got off on the wrong foot, but the unlikely pair might find some common ground in the coming episodes. According to Bennet, the tension between the two might not last long. "They both have certain things in common, so I think they're going to both be intrigued with one another pretty early on in terms of how they operate," she hinted.

The fourth season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
