'Agents of SHIELD' Season 2 Episode 5 Free Live Stream, Plot Spoilers: The Hunt For The Mole In Hydra

The fifth episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "airs at 9/8c today on ABC, and it will see Hydra investigating who the S.H.I.E.L.D. mole is within its ranks.

A clip from the episode titled "A Hen in the Wolf House" shows Bobbi Morse (played by Adrianne Palicki) announcing that there is a mole in Hydra. Morse, who will eventually turn out to be the superhero Mockingbird, is currently the head of security at Hydra. It looks like in her current role, she is out to create more problems for the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

As for Palicki, who makes her debut in the fifth episode, she mentioned in an interview to Crave Online that she will be around for more than one episode in the series. However, she did not divulge more about her role and whether or not the series will see her adopting the identity of Mockingbird. If she does adopt the identity though, it means she could start working for S.H.I.E.L.D and not against it.

Also as viewers will remember, Episode 3 saw S.H.I.E.L.D agent Jemma Simmons played by Elizabeth Henstridge infiltrating Hyrda . She then started transmitting information to the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Phil Coulson (played by Clark Gregg). Her activity as a mole almost resulted in her being caught in that episode, but she managed to remain undetected.

However, in the upcoming episode it looks like Morse has started hunting for her, and this is not good news for S.H.I.E.L.D. or Simmons. Also it looks like that once the mole is discovered Bakshi will be enrolled to make them pay for their betrayal.

ScreenRant states that as Palicki's character makes an entrance in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." it could mean that Morse (aka Mockingbird) could also become part of the Marvel films that are coming up. If this happens it could mean that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s audience will eventually get to see more superheroes being included from the Marvel film franchise.
