Dead Sea showing signs of 'End Times prophecy'
The discovery of living organisms thriving on the seafloor of the Dead Sea might be the End Times prophecy finally taking shape, according to a report.
According to Breaking Israel News, Samantha Siegel, a Jewish local in Jerusalem and a frequent to the Dead Sea area, discovered green plants around the pool of salt water as well as fishes swimming on the shores.
She captured her discovery of the Dead Sea coming to life in a video she posted on YouTube on July 21. The title of her video "Fish living by the Dead Sea – Prophecy of Ezekiel Unfolding" betrays how she interpreted what she's seen.
Ezekiel 47:8-9 speaks of a water flowing toward the Dead Sea, turning the salt water into fresh water that's habitable to large numbers of fishes and swarms of living creatures.
Similarly, an End Times prophecy from the book of Zechariah 14:8 reads, "On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the Dead Sea and the other half to the Mediterranean Sea. This will happen for the summer as well as the winter."
"This is a big deal, and no one is really talking about it," said Siegel in the video.
The publication also reported that a team of researchers from Negev's Ben Gurion University discovered in 2011 some proof that the Dead Sea, so salty it's inhospitable to any living organism, might not be entirely dead after all.
The divers discovered signs of life as fresh water seeps in from the cratered seafloor where microorganisms thrived.
However, not everyone shares the same perspective on End Times theology, as reported by The Christian Post. For some, the future holds the key to the revelations while others are more skeptical on the water's origin as indicated by the prophecies of Ezekiel 47 and Zechariah 14.
