Pastor William McDowell prophesies on Orlando tragedies, hints at apocalypse — 'It's happening!'

Gospel musician and pastor William McDowell hints at an apocalyptic message on the successive tragedies that struck Orlando in the recent week.

The 39-year-old pastor of Deeper Fellowship Church took to social media to declare his prophetic message. He posted a quote on Instagram with a cryptic message all in big caps, "IT'S HAPPENING!!!!"

"I know most of you will not understand what in the world I'm talking about," McDowell wrote. "As a resident of Orlando and a pastor in Orlando with a prophetic edge I feel like standing on top of the biggest thing I can with the loudest megaphone and shouting this as loud as I can."

The Grammy-nominated gospel singer didn't exactly fill in the blanks but he did hint that "those with a spiritual awareness" will get what he's pointing at and added that those who do get him would know "what and how to pray." He said that "intercessors, prophetic voices, and those who are sensitive" like himself are only starting to read between the lines from the things that have been happening in their city since this year began.

"Everything is connected!" he said. "There is a word from the Lord about all of this!"

The world watched as three horrific tragedies in succession rocked the city called home by Walt Disney.

The first tragedy occurred June 10 when a deranged fan shot former "The Voice" contestant Christina Grimmie in the head while signing autographs for fans at The Live Plaza theatre after a concert performance. She succumbed to her gunshot wounds hours after.

A day after the 22-year-old Christian singer died, a gunman attacked the Pulse gay nightclub, killed 49 and wounded 53.

Another tragedy gripped the city in just a couple of days, this time in its tourist destination Disney World resort lagoon, when a two-year-old boy went missing after being dragged away by an alligator. Authorities recovered the boy's dead yet intact body the following day.

Despite everything, travel agency owner Cindy Manor claims Orlando's popularity as a tourist destination is unaffected.

Manor shared with the Associated Press that travelers' mentality goes, "Are you going to sit and be scared in your house? Or are you going to live your life and make memories with your family?"
