"One Direction" member Liam Payne confessed on social media that he and his girlfriend, singer Cheryl Cole, have not chosen a name for their first child — a baby boy — who was born on March 22.

On his Instagram account, where he also thanked fans for their support, he said, "We haven't named him yet but he's already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed." His message is almost exactly the same as Cole's, who also talked about the birth on her own social media post, which says: "On Wednesday 22ng Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy, baby boy, weighing 7 lb 9 and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn't have a name he is already stealing hearts."

Bookies are currently taking bets on what would name the couple would choose. The Sun cited a radio interview Payne gave previously where he said that he would prefer a neutral name for their child. "I like the name Taylor. Taylor's pretty neutral for a boy or a girl. That's what I'm going to call my first child if I had children," he said. Cole, meanwhile, said she likes the name Alfie in an interview with GQ.

Rumors were already going around that Cole was pregnant prior to the couple's announcement that they were expecting. According to her, she kept it a secret at first because she was scared of "jinxing" her joy, given that she wanted a baby for quite some time.

The birth of the child has not changed the couple's efforts for privacy. MailOnline revealed that Cole and Payne will not be sharing photos of their baby boy to protect the child.

Cole and Payne first met when the latter auditioned in "X-Factor," where the former was a judge. The competition paved the way for him to become part of boy band One Direction. He is the second member to become a father, the first being Louis Tomlinson.
