Under Armour Curry Two 'Black Knight' about to take over, release date and specs
With Steph Curry still playing in the NBA Finals, Under Armour continues to release new silhouettes of his shoes.
The Golden State Warriors are closing in on a back-to-back title and the league MVP is given a comic-book inspired shoe in the Curry Two silhouette.
Dubbed as the "Black Knight," the shoe seems to take inspiration from the comic book character Batman as it has an almost entirely black upper with accents of yellow across the shoe.
This performance shoe is made from fused upper that hugs the foot for a great fit on the floor, and the high cut helps in protecting the ankle from constant movement.
For cushioning, the Curry Two still uses "Charged" system that should help cushion the foot when jumping or landing from a jump.
However, one of the best things about the shoe is still the traction.
Reviewed by few of the best performance testers in the country, one of the highlights of the shoe is the way it is able to grip the floor when playing.
Here, the yellow outsole still has a multi-directional pattern which mostly resembles herringbone.
This should help maintain stability and grip when moving across different directions on the floor, much like Curry does when he plays.
Furthermore, the traction pattern is given enough space so that dust cannot stay stuck in between the grooves that prevents grip on the floor.
As for the look, yellow can be seen on the laces, the Under Armour label on the lateral side, and the "SC" logo on the tongue for a simplistic and clean look.
This shoe will release on June 11 and will retail for $130 at leading Under Armour retailers.
