Anybody who cared to check already knew that the release date for "Toy Story 4" has been pushed back a number of times already. It was initially scheduled to premiere on June 16 2017, but Pixar decided to delay the film and give its slot to "Cars 3." The new release date for "Toy Story 4" was going to be June 15, 2018, but late last year, the studio pushed it further back to June 21, 2019, to give way to "The Incredibles 2" since it was allegedly further along in production. Will that be the final release date change for the film?

TV Overmind's Nat Berman seems to believe that the film may get delayed one more time. Fans who are tired of waiting will have to cross their fingers and hope Pixar doesn't push it back to 2020 or beyond.

"Toy Story 3" came out back in 2010, so there's going to be a huge gap between films. But that wouldn't be a problem because the gap between "Toy Story 2" and "Toy Story 3" was over a decade. "Toy Story 3" made over a billion dollars, so fans don't have to worry about the future of the film franchise because it is one of Pixar's main cash cows.

Berman has even predicted that "Toy Story 4" may even gross more than $2 billion dollars. That's "Avatar," "Titanic" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" territory already. Can the film really make that much money?

"Toy Story 4" may have been delayed several times, but at least Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are back to voice Woody and Buzz Lightyear, respectively. Reports also say that fans may finally meet Andy's (voiced by John Morris) dad. He was never mentioned or seen throughout the series, and some believed that Andy's parents may have separated before the first film.

Fans may have to wait a long time for "Toy Story 4," but based on the film franchise's track record, the wait may be worth it.
