Ben (Jack Stanton) getting into all sorts of accidents seems to be a recurring treat in FOX's new comedy series "The Mick." So when Mickey plans a birthday party for the youngest Pemberton, what kinds of mishap will befall the curious 7-year-old this time around?

Previously advertised as episode 3, the upcoming episode titled "The Balloon" brings the dysfunctional family together for at least a day to celebrate Ben's birthday. But will putting their own selfish tendencies aside be enough to pull off a celebration fit for a 7-year-old? With Mickey at the helm, it seems rather unlikely.

The trailer for the special episode teases just one of the many ways things can go wrong when the clown that Mickey hires for the party turns out to be a junkie and ends up unconscious in the bathtub. Will they have to make do without a clown in a kids' party? Will a balloon play a significant role in how things turn out for the good or bad? And since it's his birthday anyway, will Ben's unfortunate streak take a hike, or will the accident he gets himself into be worse than before?

"The Mick" season 1 episode 4 airs on a special schedule — on Sunday, Jan. 15, at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.

Another brand new episode airs on the show's regular schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 8:31 p.m. EST. Titled "The Fire," episode 5 features Mickey's struggles to quit smoking, while fresh out of his 7th birthday, Ben meets a new friend. Will Mickey be able to stop her bad habit before it causes an accident that could well involve Ben? How will Ben's new friend affect his luck?

The freshman season of "The Mick" has just been ordered an additional four episodes, bringing it to a total of 17 episodes. The extension came after the show's favorable ratings during its pilot episode, making it FOX's new number one comedy series in the 18–49 demographic.
