Things are certainly a little chaotic in the WWE with the suspension of a superstar and the coming big events of the company and even a brand extension that could split the main roster. And with all the action in and outside the squared circle, it is natural that rumors are around.

Everyone knows that Roman Reigns was recently suspended due to a violation of the company's wellness policy. This has resulted in him being out of action for 30 days and it should ultimately alter the company's story line.

Now for a genuine rumor going around, fans of Randy Orton might need to wait a little longer to see their favorite superstar get back in the ring.

According to UniversityHerald, Orton's recovery from surgery is not going as quick as their initial timetable and it may result in him missing SummerSlam 2016.

After being out of action since October of last year, Orton was initially one of the names put in the pot to possibly face Brock Lesnar at WWE's summer event.

Now it seems that Orton's shoulder injury, which required surgery, needs to heal more so it means he is still out.

At 36 years old, Orton has had this injury a number of times, and it seems that it is taking a toll on his body.

As a result, many believe that Orton will be back in the fold by Aug 28, one week after the SummerSlam event on Aug 21.

WWE SummerSlam 2016 will be in Brooklyn, New York and Orton is likely to miss that event, and instead opt to be at the WWE Live Event at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

This is a huge blow for one of the biggest and most dependable names in the WWE. Orton still possesses a big pull and can excite the crowd with his impressive moves and intensity when performing in the ring.
