'Pokemon Go' transfer button updates: Transferring made easier

By now, fans are so used to the arrangement of buttons and functions in "Pokemon Go" that they can navigate through the game easily. This is why developer Niantic Labs' decision to "remove" the transfer button in its latest update was met with backlash.

Of course, for something as important as the transfer button, Niantic would not dare remove it. The developer only put the button in a spot it deems will make it more accessible to players.

The transfer button on "Pokemon Go" was relocated to a more convenient spot and can now be accessed when players tap on one of their captured Pokemon.

Tapping on the menu button on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen (the green round one with horizontal lines) will reveal the lost transfer button (another option with it is the favorite button).

From there, the transfer can be done. The Pokemon will be in Professor Willow's hands and players will eventually get one candy.

As per ComicBook.com, the new and more accessible location of the transfer button in "Pokemon Go" should speed things up and will save players previous seconds.

Another notable tweak on the latest "Pokemon Go" update is the customization of the avatars, which was previously limited to creating a profile, thus rendering them unchangeable. This, of course, is no longer the case following the update.

Niantic also chose to remove the footprints of the Pokemon, making it harder for users to know how close a creature is. Either way, the feature was already being faulty in the recent months so the developer removed it completely.
