"Pokémon GO" has taken over the world and trainers from across the globe want to catch them all. However, some players like to take shortcuts, which developer Niantic Labs will not tolerate.

Players who cheat their way through "Pokémon GO" will be permanently banned from playing the game in the spirit of providing a "fair, fun and legitimate game experience for everyone." This new rule was reflected in the latest update to the game's Terms of Service.

Anyone caught "falsifying your location, using emulators, modified or unofficial software and/or accessing Pokémon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner including through the use of third party software" will be prohibited from playing "Pokémon GO," per the new policy.

It is a mystery as to how Niantic detects players using third-party software or cheats in "Pokémon GO," but the studio gives players the chance to appeal the ban.

There are a lot of ways to keep "Pokémon GO" fun and competitive without having to employ cheats. Some players who have more experience with the game even share tips for improved gameplay.

One of the biggest challenges in "Pokémon GO" is throwing the Pokémon and catching the pocket monster that just popped up as fast and precisely as possible.

A Redditor who goes by the name homu discovered that doing the "L Throw" — which is done by dragging the Pokeball to the left or right side of the screen (depends on which hand is used) and releasing it once it is located at the same height as the Pokémon — will make Pokémon-catching a piece of cake.

With regard to the type of Pokémon available to catch in "Pokémon GO," Business Insider notes that some creatures are more difficult to catch than others.

Most likely to make a break for it is Abra, who has a 99 percent flee rate. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, and Dragonite come with an eight percent base-capture rate. Check out the compilation here.

Meanwhile, Pocket-Lint has ranked the best Pokémon in "Pokemon GO" based on Combat Power (CP), which is the most important thing to consider when going to battle.

The Pokémon with the highest CP are Mewtwo, Dragonite, and Mew. Check out the ranking here.

Of course, catching them or even finding them is a rare thing, so investing on better pokeballs and lure items should be a priority for "Pokémon GO" players who want to catch them all.
