Luffy has agreed to join forces with Momonosuke to take the Land of Wano back and bring the yonkou pirate Kaido down. But first, there's that small matter of a missing crew member that Luffy has to take care of.

In the next episode of the long-running Japanese anime series "One Piece," Luffy will ask his new allies to help in retrieving their friend Sanji back from Big Mom's place. To further convince the minks, the samurais, and the lone ninja that this side mission will not be in vain, Luffy tells them that Sanji, whose strength is equal to that of a thousand men, will be a significant asset to their fight against the shogun of Wano and Emperor Kaido.

And while they are at it, Robin will remind them to make a copy of any Road Poneglyph that they might find at Big Mom's chateau. Nami will readily volunteer to accompany Luffy as his ever reliable navigator. Brook will also want to go so that he could provide some uplifting music if things go sideways. And since they are taking the injured mink Pekoms with them, they will need the reliable doctor, Chopper, to look after his well-being and make sure he takes them to where they ought to go.

The trailer for episode 772 titled "The Legendary Journey! The Dog and the Cat and the Pirate King!" also features a peek into the past adventures of Inuarashi and Nekomamushi. The episode might even shed some light on the long-standing rivalry between the two brave guardians of Zou Island.

Luffy asks the Straw Hats' new allies to stand down and wait for them to come back with Sanji before launching any form of attack against their enemies. But it looks like their enemies are on to them, judging by future episode titles released by the February edition of Newtype magazine and shared online by One Piece Podcast.

It turns out that Jack the Drought, one of Kaido's most trusted men, will be launching a second attack on Zou, but this time he will be aiming at Zunesha, the giant elephant on whose back lies the Zou island and its mink inhabitants. His arrival is hinted by the episode 773 title, "Returning Nightmare – Assault of the Invulnerable Jack," while episode 775, titled "Save the Giant Elephant – The Straw Hats Rescue Operation!," suggests that Luffy and his crew will be staying on the island longer than what they anticipated so that they can assist in annihilating this new threat.

"One Piece" airs a new episode every Sunday at 3:30 p.m. JST on Fuji TV.
