Before it was released to the public, there had been rave reviews on the Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card. It was highly anticipated as it was said to be an affordable GPU that would promise incredible performance.

And now with the GPU already released, people took to the stores, both physical and online, to purchase and test this powerful graphics card for themselves.

Due to the hype it has generated, the GTX 1070, like the GTX 1080, is now said to be out of stock and may only be available by August, as VRWorld reported. This indicates that the hype behind the product is real.

Due to its affordability, it is understandable that the GeForce GTX 1070 has run out of stock. With its price set at $379, people immediately got their hands on the basic version. The Founders Edition is up for $449, while the regular GTX 1080 is for sale for $599. The Founders Edition for the GTX 1080 is priced at $699.

From their official website, the GeForce GTX 1070 is still available, but only the Founders Edition variant. Furthermore, one can only buy a maximum of two graphics cards per transaction, which shows that Nvidia is trying its best to avoid resellers from getting their hands on the product.

On different sites, it is understood that the GPUs are out of stock like in Newegg. On other sites like Amazon, they are available for a slightly higher price.

Looking at the specs of the GTX 1070 on its official site, the GPU Architecture is Pascal while the frame buffer is at 8 GB GDDR5. The memory speed is at 8 Gbps and the boost clock is at 1683 MHz.

Fans can keep searching for sites where the product is available, but for those who have a little more cash to spend, the Founders Edition should be a great choice as well.
