'New Girl' season 6 episode 14 spoilers: 'The Hike' hints at unexpected turn of events

The Loft will soon be Cece (Hannah Simone) and Schmidt's (Max Greenfield) home no more, but before they can settle into their new place, it looks like they will have to earn their new neighbors' favor first in the next episode of "New Girl."

In the previous episode of FOX's comedy series, Schmidt expressed his concerns about moving away and being out of the loop with his Loft buddies. But after a day at the spa and an unexpected Brazilian that invariably sealed their "band of brother-hood," Schmidt is just about to face the real problem that comes with moving into a new place: new neighbors.

Titled "The Hike," the next episode of "New Girl" features married couple Schmidt and Cece moving into their new place and failing to impress their new neighbors. How will this situation affect the couple's newfound home life, and will they ever manage to find some common ground with the people in their new neighborhood, especially now that they seem to be planning to start their own family?

Simone recently told TV Guide that while she might not yet know what's next for Cece and Schmidt, the couple having a baby may not be too far off on the horizon for the two.

"I think the writers are listening, so who knows what could be next for them? I'm not sure," Simone teased.

The episode will also see Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and boyfriend Robby (Nelson Franklin) going on a rather revealing day hike that will force them to deal with an unexpected discovery about their relationship. What could this revelation be, and will this change their relationship for the better or for the worse?

Additionally, in the midst of all these, Winston (Lamorne Morris) will be putting together a surprise homecoming party for long-distance girlfriend Aly (Nasim Pedrad). How will the party turn out, and is Aly just taking a break from training, or is she here to stay?

The official episode synopsis also advises viewers to "expect the unexpected." Are there some major changes coming up that can potentially stir things towards a totally different path?
