'Mistresses' season 4 spoilers news: Episode 7 to air after 3-week hiatus? Kate's new fling gets between her and Joss?

"Mistresses" season 4 episode 6 titled "What Happens in Vegas" found Harry and Joss enjoying a getaway to celebrate their new business, which ended badly. In episode 7, which will air after a 3-week break, it looks like a man would come between Joss and her soon-to-be-sister-in-law, Kate.

While on vacation in Las Vegas, Harry (Brett Tucker) and Joss (Jes Macallan) get showered with gifts from their host and new business partner Reza (Micky Shiloah), who happens to be Jonathon's (David Negahban) nephew. A silver platter filled with $5,000 dollars worth of poker chips seemed a little too much for Joss who said, "It's excessive. No strings attached? I don't buy it."

However, the couple eventually discovers the catch when Joss witnesses Reza attacking a young woman, something that prompts Joss, who is a victim of an attack herself, to intervene. Her post-traumatic stress disorder, coupled with the self-defense moves she learned recently, prompted her to give Reza the most thorough beat-down of his life. Unfortunately, the move could land Joss behind bars since Reza would apparently press charges against her.

Meanwhile, Carter Matt said "Devious Maids" season 4 will take a 3-week break and won't be back with episode 7 until Monday, Aug. 8. The delay is to give way to the Republican and Democratic National Conventions happening over the next two weeks.

In the yet-untitled upcoming episode, Kate (Tabrett Bethell) would discover that the Scott (Justin Hartley) she is dating is actually Joss' ex-fiancé, the one she ditched at the altar so she can hook up with Harry, who happens to be her ex brother-in-law. Upon learning the truth, Scott would try to end his messy romance with Kate, but the fiery lady won't be that easy to shoo away.

Now could Joss, who fell in love with her sister Savi's (Alyssa Milano) ex, take it against Kate for doing the hanky-panky with her ex?

That question will be answered when "Devious Maids" season 4 returns on Monday, Aug. 8, 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
