'Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood' news 2016: Reality TV star Teairra Mari battles personal drama even before release date for season 3 is confirmed

It looks like "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood's" Teairra Mari is not exempt from a court date no matter how big a reality TV star she is. At least, that's what she discovered when a bench warrant was issued for her following her failure to show up in court.

The third season of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" is yet to air, but Ray J's ex-girlfriend is already making headlines this early after Los Angeles police sent out an arrest warrant for Teairra. She was due in court on Monday, June 13, but failed to show up.

It would be remembered that Teairra assaulted an Uber driver summer of 2015 after the latter apparently refused her request to borrow his iPhone charger. She was subsequently charged misdemeanors for battery and theft in September since according to the driver, she never returned the phone charger that she forcibly took from him. When police arrived on the scene, they did discover the charger inside her purse. Teairra insisted that she never assaulted the driver and claimed he was being incredibly rude to her.

According to TMZ, Teairra was set for a court date after the driver pressed the charges against her. However, she failed to show up. She claimed she jotted down the wrong time for when she was supposed to appear before the judge.

Teairra would now have to turn herself in so a trial date could be set. Nevertheless, following the release of her warrant, the authorities can take her into custody immediately if she's seen around Hollywood before her trial date.

"Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" revolves around the lives of several men and women of Hollywood's hip-hop scene. Aside from Teairra, the cast includes Ray J, Lyrica Anderson, Hazel E, Soulja Boy, Christian Goff, and Moniece Slaughter.

Ecumenical News has earlier reported that "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" season 3 would air mid-2016. It hasn't been confirmed yet if taping has begun for the VH1 show, but Teairra's latest drama would most likely be featured in the upcoming season.
