'How to Get Away with Murder' season 3 spoilers, plot news: Annalise reason for Frank's disappearance?

The third season of "How to Get Away with Murder" would see Annalise Keating and her team dealing with more mysteries. It remains to be seen if these mysteries would reveal answers to burning questions about Annalise, too.

It would be recalled that the second season of the series ended with the shocking death of Wallace Mahoney (Adam Arkin). The murder occurred before Wes (Alfred Enoch) could tell Wallace that the latter was his father.

Now if speculations about the upcoming season's premiere episode are to be believed, it looks like Wallace's killer would be revealed then.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the show's creator Pete Nowalk teased that anyone could be Wallace's murderer, including Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) or a new character that might be introduced later on. On the other hand, Wes could have killed his father. After all, all viewers saw was blood splattered on Wes as his father was shot in the head.

"That's definitely a possibility," said Nowalk when he was asked if Wes could be involved.

At any rate, the murder mystery could be solved in a single episode, perhaps the premiere, or Keating Five could investigate it in many episodes. What is certain is that Wes will be tougher this season, and Nowalk could only be too excited for it.

Speaking to Variety, he said he was excited to "explore Wes' relationship with Annalise (Viola Davis)" especially now that he knows her secret. He said, "Whether he can trust her again and whether he wants her in his life is the big question."

Meanwhile, in an interview with TV Line, Weber said that there was a possibility that the character he plays, Frank, murdered Wallace for Annalise. Fans actually believe that Frank, Annalise's most trusted ally, is in hiding because of the crime. Apparently, he did so to make it up to Annalise after he ratted out on her for money.

Moreover, Frank's betrayal made Annalise lose her baby in a freak accident. So there's also the possibility that Annalise has something to do with Frank's disappearance. Either way, fans would find out soon enough when the season premiere airs.
