'Grimm' season 6 release date, spoilers news: Nick to unleash his dark side? New plot details revealed
There are speculations that aside from Juliette coming back to stir tension between Nick and Adalind, Nick would also take a turn for the worst when "Grimm" returns for its sixth season.
"Grimm" season 6 will premiere in three months, and fans are busy making assumptions on what the sixth installment of the hit show has in store for them. Viewers know that the previous seasons of the show have not been too good for Nick (David Guintoli), especially in the love department.
It will be remembered that Adalind (Claire Coffee), with who Nick shares a child, let go of him to keep him safe and for her family to remain intact. The letting go aspect was one-sided, though, because Nick tried and will apparently still try to do everything to get Adalind back when "Grimm" season 6 starts airing.
Meanwhile, Nick's dark side would apparently take over him in the upcoming season, and Guintoli seems to be entertained by this development. During the "Grimm" panel at the Armageddon Expo in New Zealand, the actor said he's still uncertain as to the extent of Nick's superpowers, but he said the writers are planning to make the character "aggressive and somehow unhinged."
"So that will be really fun to play for me," he said.
In related news, Juliette's (Bitsie Tulloch) return might cause more trouble for Nick and Adalind, and while Tulloch said there will be no love triangle between the three characters, the writers could inject the plot to make the upcoming season more interesting for fans.
"For the time being (there's no love triangle), but I'd be shocked if they don't play with it because most of my comments on Social media have been 'Are Nick and Eve going to get together?' And I'm like 'Nothing as of yet,' but I'd be shocked if that doesn't come into play," Tulloch told Collider.
Should the love triangle arc not happen, shippers of Adalind and Nick's romance could hope for a reunion, based on what Coffee recently teased.
"I think what Adalind would like is to be back with Nick, be happy, and be able to establish a family with him. I think Adalind firmly believes that Nick and company are on the right side, and she wants to be, too," the actress told Parade.
"Grimm" season 6 premiered Oct. 28 on NBC. Stay tuned for more details on the upcoming season.
