"Grimm" season 6 looks promising if events from season 5's finale are anything to go by. The fifth season ended with Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) using the Stick on Eve and, in the process, getting a glimpse of ex-girlfriend Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch). Now fans are wondering if Eve would turn back into Juliette and how Nick and Adalind's (Claire Coffee) relationship would be affected should this happen.

After seeing Juliette/Eve being evil for much of season 5, fans have started shipping Nick and Adalind, which is why news of Juliette's impending return has gotten them in knots. In an interview with TV Insider, Giuntoli confirmed that the new situation would be confusing for Nick, too, stating, "It's all too much for Nick to take in."

"We have time to wrap it up in a wonderful, perfect way, for all of our characters," he said of the show's season 5 finale. "We will go out big and we will go out strong."

Whether Giuntoli's statement implies "Grimm" season 6 would be the series' finale season or not remains to be seen. Nevertheless, the possibility of Juliette returning could make Nick's already complicated life even more complex.

Meanwhile, a Twitter post from Tulloch indicated that the writers have just started penning the next chapter of the series in the beginning of June. It's now up to the writers to decide whether Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) would drop the sword and join Nick's side or if he would continue treading down a dark path.

Fans have seen how easily Renard has switched sides through all of "Grimm's" first five seasons, so the writers actually have a free hand in making him both villain and good guy.

Nevertheless, Giuntoli's interview with Entertainment Weekly might just have given away Renard's fate in season 6. He said the Black Claw is finished and won't be going after the Grimm anymore. However, when asked about Renard, he said the latter would have a hard time forming alliances with members of the team after all that he's done.

"Now it's Renard versus Nick. I think," he told Entertainment Weekly.

"Grimm" officially returns with season 6 this fall on NBC.
