"Final Fantasy 15" will no longer be released on Sept. 30. A report by Gamnesia claims that the long-awaited game was delayed to Nov. 29.

The site credits someone "within GameStop management" as a source and even posted marketing paraphernalia that mentions the correction of the date.

Kotaku also stated that a "second, non-retail source familiar with the game" announced that "Final Fantasy 15's" release will be pushed back to the end of November. The site added that not all GameStop outlets have been informed about the delay, although each of them has received a standee that indicates the Sept. 30 release date.

A sticker with the new release date will be sent out to the outlets. This information is revealed in the GameStop instruction materials that Gamnesia showed. The leak earned some flak and skepticism from some fans, but Kotaku confirmed that the documents follow the same material they have previously seen from GameStop.

With all that said, it appears that "Final Fantasy 15" will be delayed for two months from its supposed release. It is only a matter of time before it is confirmed. There's no information as to why the long-awaited action role-playing video game was pushed back. However, it is believed that it is for a good reason.

The abovementioned publication believes that developer Square Enix will use the extension to polish the game, which should make "Final Fantasy 15" worth the long wait.

At the time of writing, Square Enix has not addressed the "Final Fantasy 15" rumors, but many fans are already frustrated about the news. Development for the game began back in 2006. A change in game engines contributed to the delays, but earlier this year, it was announced that the game will finally be released on Sept. 30.

Although the delay looks bad on the outset, it is believed that it will enrich the game, especially technical-wise.
