'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' release date for PS4, Xbox One news: English trailer showcases characters, intense action and gameplay
An English preview of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has been released, bringing the action and excitement to the fans of the hit fighting game series who are located in the west.
It was shorter than the Japanese version, but it nonetheless gave fans a good look at the overall gameplay in the sequel as well as the new transformations players can do.
The fast-paced action was effectively shown on the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" trailer as well as some of the fighters to expect in the roster.
Fans would also want to pay attention to the customized Ki blasts and metamorphoses shown in the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" clip. In this sequel, fans are guaranteed to get more out of these.
Meanwhile, Bandai Namco is yet to unveil the entirety of the roster in the upcoming fighting game. However, it was already revealed that Goku Black is joining the fray.
Goku Black is of course the ruthless villain in the ongoing Future Trunks arc in "Dragon Ball Super."Goku Black comes as a pre-order bonus.
So far, the character is yet to be shown in action in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" and fans hope that a trailer for his arrival in the game will be released soon.
Before Goku Black was confirmed to be in the sequel, fans already expected him to be included due to the fact that his storyline in the anime focuses on time-travel, which is what the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" franchise appears to be all about.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will once again see players protect the timeline. However, things get more challenging with more villains added to the fold.
Another exciting thing to look forward to is the bigger and better Hub City, which can accommodate up to 300 players.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America on Oct. 25 and Europe on Oct. 28. The Steam version will also be out on Oct. 28 as well.
