'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 56, 57 update, rumors, spoilers: Zamasu in cahoots with Black Goku, kills Gowasu to steal Potarra earrings?

The previous episode of "Dragon Ball Super" featured the intense confrontation of Black Goku and the Saiyan trio composed of Future Trunks, Vegeta and Son Goku. The protagonists were able to travel to the future timeline, thanks to Bulma's efforts to fix Future Trunks' time machine that was earlier destroyed by Black Goku. In spite of the three training hard to defeat Black Goku, the villain was proven to be a very powerful being, more so when he finally unleashed his special Super Saiyan Rose form. Adding up to the trouble is the rogue kaioshin from Universe 10, Zamasu, who was revealed to be in cahoots with Black Goku the whole time.

As recapped by Mobile N Apps, Future Trunks, Vegeta and Goku fought Black Goku with their full strength. Vegeta and Goku used their Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form to take down Black Goku, while Future Trunks transformed into Super Saiyan 2.

Unbeknownst to everyone, Black Goku has his special form called the Super Saiyan form, and the Super Saiyan God/Blue power is no match to Black's newfound powers. The villain has easily beaten Goku with a single hit, but when he was finally readying his black kamehame attack to kill Goku, Zamasu suddenly appeared.

It was then revealed that Zamasu is really related to Black Goku, and they are seemingly working together to spread chaos in the universe. Zamasu also reminded Black Goku about their deal that he should be the one to kill Son Goku.

Many fans were surprised by this surprise turn of events. It was already hinted that Zamasu has the same ki as Black Goku, but Beerus and Whis already concluded that they are not possible to be related as Zamasu has no idea who Goku is when they first met each other.

However, in Episode 56, Zamasu seems to know everyone and everything that is happening. Zamasu is already wearing the green Potarra earring, which is an indication that he is already a Supreme Kai. Yibada speculates that Zamasu killed the currently known kaioshin of Universe 10, Gowasu.

There are many questions that need to be answered in the upcoming episode, including the mysterious link between Black Goku and Zamasu. It will also be explained how the two villains suddenly became so powerful within a short period of time, plus how Zamasu is already in possession of the green Potarra earrings.
