'Devious Maids' season 4 spoilers: Does Rosie have enough in her hands to save Spence?

Fireworks are bound to go off when "Devious Maids" season 4 returns to the small screen after a week-long hiatus to give way to Monday's Fourth of July festivities. Until then, here are some details about the July 11 episode titled "A Time to Spill" that seems to promise a whole lot of drama.

It appears the fifth episode of "Devious Maids" will be a nail-biting episode, mostly focusing on Rosie's (Dania Ramirez) efforts to prove Spence's (Grant Show) innocence. She will try to look for evidence to support her claim, but according to the synopsis provided by TV Guide, Rosie's snooping around could get her into trouble.

"Rosie puts herself at risk in an attempt to prove Spence's innocence; Danni seeks comfort from Jesse while avoiding Carmen; Marisol asks for Evelyn's help after Peter invites her to a gala; and Zoila tries to make Kyle jealous. Meanwhile, Genevieve and Fabian's relationship takes an unexpected turn," the synopsis read.

It has been previously reported that Rosie suspects Peri's murder (Mariana Klaveno) was pre-meditated to make it look like Spence did it. However, Rosie is convinced that some people close to Peri and Spence connived to put the blame on the latter.

While it remains to be seen if Rosie's suspicions of foul play are on target, it looks like Evelyn (Rebecca Wisocky) will face the toughest challenge of her life as she deals with her new "un-moneyed" status. It will be remembered that she opted to leave her husband Adrian (Tom Irwin) when she learned that he was faking his paralysis. The separation prompted Adrian to remove Evelyn's access to her money, so now she has to deal with being dirt poor.

"I'm not sure she really even understands that it could be possible to not have money, and I think she will have kind of a childlike response to that, which hopefully people will find enjoyable. It was certainly very enjoyable to play!" Wisocky said of her character.

"Devious Maids" season 4 episode 5 will air on Monday, July 11, at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
