'Devious Maids' season 4 news: Genevieve and Marisol's catfight rears its ugly head; Spence confesses to killing Peri?

Who really killed Peri? | Devious Minds/Facebook

"Devious Maids" season 4's last episode saw Spence (Grant Show) being accused of murdering Peri. However, he doesn't remember much of what happened on that night other than seeing her with a trophy sticking out of her throat. Did he do it?

That question is still up for discussion, and whether the June 20 episode titled "War and Grease" answers it is still anybody's guess. What's certain is that Rosie (Dania Ramirez) would do everything she can to keep him out of the murder trial. Future episodes point to Rosie's suspicion of foul play on Peri's murder growing stronger.

Meanwhile, the raging war between Genevieve (Susan Lucci) and Marisol (Ana Ortiz) is going to get uglier with Zoila (Judy Reyes) playing Devil's advocate. Apparently, Zoila would lash out on Marisol after the latter comments about Genevieve's "mean bone." Ever the loyal friend and employee, Zoila would reply that where Genevieve's man is concerned, it becomes "all-out war."

It would be remembered that things turned from bad to worse between the two women after Genevieve learned that Marisol was dating her ex. The official synopsis from TV Guide says:

"Genevieve takes her war on Marisol to new heights; Carmen attempts to befriend Daniela; Zoila and Frances grow closer; and Evelyn's plan for divorce is thwarted when Adrian cuts off her funding. Meanwhile, Rosie and Jesse must deal with a new visitor."

Meanwhile, an upcoming episode will see Carmen (Roselyn Sánchez) and her daughter Daniela's (Sol Rodriguez) relationship taking a turn when a surprise visitor arrives. Viewers know that theirs is a relationship that's fragile at best, so it would be worth anticipating if this visitor would make or further break their mother-daughter connection. Marisol would also be getting a new roommate, as Zoila endures a blind date.

In other news, Carter Matt reported that "Devious Maids" season 4's ratings have gone down. Fans are hoping it picks up as the season progresses.

"Devious Maids" season 4 airs Mondays, 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
