'Dance Moms' season 7 news update: Chloe Lukasiak not keen on returning? Maddie Ziegler talks about life after show

As "Dance Moms" season 7 works its way up to a January 2017 airing, two of its former stars share their feelings about leaving the show, with the other one discussing the possibility of a comeback.

Undoubtedly, Chloe Lukasiak amassed not only success but also a huge fan base while she was on "Dance Moms," and a return trip to the show could certainly boost the ratings of the upcoming season.

Abby Lee Miller, the primary instructor in the reality dance show, casually mentioned Chloe during the "Dance Moms" season 6 reunion, and fans of the show took it as a hint that Miller was sending signals to her former student to join the show again in season 7.

However, it's highly unlikely that Chloe would subject herself again to all the drama and fights that go with being part of the show, especially not after her mother, Christi Lukasiak, and Miller butted heads more than once during her stint with the reality show.

According to Game n Guide, Chloe and her mom up and left the show after the terror teacher got a bit personal in her last argument with Christi and said Chloe had a "lazy eye." It turned out it was more than that, and the former "Dance Moms" star was actually battling a medical condition called silent sinus syndrome.

That, plus the fact that Chloe's schedule is packed to the brim, could be why Chloe has not committed to returning and joining the cast of "Dance Moms" season 7.

Meanwhile, Maddie Ziegler, who left the show in February after six seasons, dished on the reason why she decided to leave the reality dance show.

In an interview with "Seventeen" magazine, the 13-year-old dance and actress said that while leaving the show was hard on her part, "it was getting too stressful."

"I feel like I had so much more pressure on me to be the best in the room," she added.

The teenage star doesn't regret her decision and said that Miller wasn't part of her decision to leave as the notorious dance instructor is "exactly how she is on the show," although "she can actually be funny sometimes."

She did say that leaving the show, she feels "like I'm so free." Incidentally, Ziegler will appear in the next season of "So You Think You Can Dance?"

"Dance Moms" season 7 is set to air on Lifetime in January 2017.
