'Clash of Clans' update finally rolled out; fans looking forward to a Halloween update
The wait is over for "Clash of Clans" players since the update has been rolled out by Supercell. Although a little delayed on the expected September date, the players are offered a new perspective in clan wars. Gamers are now able to create customizable wars with other clans in a feature dubbed "Friendly Wars." They won't win any resources from such kind of war, but friendly clan wars are purposely designed for fun, testing out tactics and scoping the strength of the competition.
The "Clash of Clans" update includes a revamp by of Army Training and Quick Train. The developers of "Clash of Clans," Supercell, changed Army Training to let players train two full armies with just two simple taps.
Below is the introductory video supplementary to the updated feature:
In addition, the Clan XP and Clan Wars loot rules are also revisited in the 2016 update. There are lots of upgrade costs and reduced times.
Moreover, Clash Friends and Friendly Challenge got updated. Players may now add friends in Clash via player profiles. Searching players are now possible via player tag by checking the player's profile menu. Moving decorations also no longer puts a layout on Friendly Challenge cooldown.
In every update, it is inevitable to encounter bugs and issues. One known issue encountered in the 2016 update is that special packages are not being delivered. For example, a "Clash of Clan" player purchases a Bomb a Tower package but only receives gems/resources.
Nevertheless, Supercell is already investigating this issue and will provide a bug fix and solution as soon as possible, as reported by International Business Times,
"Clash of Clans" fans are also looking forward to the Halloween update. However, based on Supercell's previous records of rolling out updates, an update happening twice a month for the strategy-based game is highly unlikely. Nonetheless, as pointed out by GameNGuide, there is still a possibility for a Halloween update since Supercell is trying to make up for the delayed delivery of their previous update. Also, the Halloween is a good time for the company to dress up the characters and release limited edition items.
