The dysfunctional Rayburn family will be back.

On Wednesday, July 13, Netflix announced that it has given the green light for a "Bloodline" season 3. The dark family drama's third season will consist of 10 episodes, down from its season 1 order of 13, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

"Todd [Kessler], Daniel [Zelman], and Glenn [Kessler] have created a riveting family saga featuring one of the most talented ensembles in the history of television," Cindy Holland, VP of Original Content at Netflix, said in a statement. "We can't wait to see what the next chapter holds for the all-too-human Rayburns."

Zelman and the Kesslers will continue to helm "Bloodline" in its third season. The main cast, including Kyle Chandler, Linda Cardellini, Sissy Spacek, Ben Mendelsohn, and Norbert Leo Butz, are expected to reprise their roles as the members of the Rayburn clan.

Now that Florida's tax incentives program has expired, it is unclear if the Netflix series will continue to film in the Florida Keys, as it did for its first two seasons, or relocate. Without tax rebate funds, producing season 3 would be a pricier venture, THR noted.

"Netflix is evaluating how it's doing for them and how it's performing, and are very hopeful that there will be a future as are we," series co-creator Todd A. Kessler told the outlet in June.

He also clarified that "Bloodline" isn't filmed in the Florida Keys only because of the financial perks. "We decided to set the show there ... because it's crucial to what the show is, not because of the tax incentive, but it does affect things financially for us and the show will be challenged because of that," he said.

Despite the current complications, the "Bloodline" creators expressed that they have five or six seasons planned for the Netflix thriller/drama.

Meanwhile, "Bloodline" has snagged a couple of Emmy nods for its second season. Chandler, who plays John Rayburn, is nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category. Mendelsohn, who plays Danny Rayburn, is up for an Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series award.

The 68th Emmy Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sept. 18.

"Bloodline" season 3 debuts in 2017.
