Android Nougat 7.0 release date news: Latest OS rolling out?
The full version of Google's latest mobile operating system (OS), the Android 7.0 Nougat has yet to roll out in this year's current smartphones and tablets. However, rumors are rife that the new Android OS will be arriving very soon. In fact, the Android 7.0 Nougat may be launched as early as Aug. 22, if the rumors are anything to go by.
The very early release of the Android 7.0 Nougat was first teased by a report by Forbes, where it was said that Google's Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X will be among the first devices to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update. The release of the new OS may begin as early as the first day of this week. It is more likely that the carrier-free and unlocked Nexus devices will be the first to get the Android 7.0 OS update.
Further supporting the earlier release of Android 7.0 Nougat is the rumored preview program that will be run by LG for Korean G5s in anticipation of the upcoming OS. Coincidentally, the said preview program will also begin on Aug. 22, Expert Reviews UK reported.
It should already be expected by mobile users that Google's own Nexus mobile devices will be the first to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update, and if the recent rumors are correct, the public will start to get the first experience of the latest Android OS this week. Other rumors suggest that upon the release of the new Android OS early this week, Google will include an improved Data Saver option that will allow users to set up a warning limit and stop data accessing. This way, it will be easy for the people to manage their mobile data allowances.
Google already gave the public the first glimpse of the Android 7.0 Nougat during the Android N Developer Preview earlier this year, giving early access to the latest OS for Sony Xperia Z3, Google Pixel C and Google Nexus devices. Meanwhile, it was reported that the upcoming Google Nexus 7 tablet and Google Nexus 2016 smartphones, Sailfish and Marlin, will be released this year with pre-installed Android 7.0 Nougat.
