Air Jordan 10 City Pack 'London' release date and specifications
Along with the Air Jordan 12, the Air Jordan 10 has been a very busy silhouette in 2016 and the "City Pack" is responsible for most of its movement in today's sneaker world.
There have been more than five releases of the new "City Pack" this year. While some have been found in local U.S. cities like "Charlotte" and "Chicago," there have also been some overseas releases like the "Paris," "Shanghai" and this beautiful colorway entitled "London."
Paying their respects to another European powerhouse and first-world country, the story behind the colorway and its connection with the city is one that links the weather.
The shoe is dominated with a hue of grey all over, with only different tones to give it a clean color blocking throughout the silhouette.
According to reports, the two tones of grey pay respect to the ever-changing weather in the capital city of England, as London is constantly gloomy and can turn from bright and sunny to dark and damp in a matter of minutes to hours.
The shoe is made of full-grain leather throughout the shoe's upper, with a lighter shade of grey on the shoe's toe box, lateral and medial sides.
Darker shades can be seen on the shoe's upper parts, with the outside sockliner given the dark treatment while it flows down the eyelets, and even the tongue is dark.
"LDN" is seen near the lateral side of the shoe which obviously stands for London, and is given a gold color for an even more contrast.
Gold continues on the heel with the Air Jordan logo stitched on the back, while the midsole and outsole continue with the two-tone greys all over.
As for the other Air Jordan 10s, the pair will cost around $190 retail and will be released on June 18.
