Duchess Kate Middleton and Duke of Cambridge William announced Monday that they are expecting their second child.

Great Britain's Kensington Palace confirmed to Us Weekly on Monday that the royal couple is expecting their second child. The two already have a one-year-old son named George. The couple, both 32, had their first child at St. Mary's Hospital in London last July.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child," the statement from the Palace read, according to Us Weekly. "The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."

The Palace's statement went on to confirm that Middleton is once again suffering from an acute form of morning sickness known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum. During her pregnancy with George, Middleton's morning sickness became so severe that she was hospitalized at King Edward VII's hospital.

"As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace," the Palace's statement continues.

Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron released a statement Monday congratulating the couple on their new addition to their family. "Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge," Cameron said in a statement. "I'm delighted by the happy news that they are expecting another baby."

Middleton is reportedly very early on in her pregnancy at about eight weeks.
